OUR SOAP is hand made with the addition of fresh sweet milk from our much loved Nubian does. Our farm is a working farm, which is located in Cullen, Va.
MILK has been known for centuries to be a natural moisturizer of human skin and has been used cosmetically back to Cleopatra.
GOATS MILK makes our skin less alkaline, preserving the protective acid matte absorbed into the skin, moisturizing and restoring it. Goat's milk is free of the allergens than can make other dairy products so irritating to the human system. Goat milk has always been the choice of those who suffer from skin irritations and allergies.
HANDCRAFTING insures that it contains the beneficial glycerin that is a natural product of soap making. Glycerine is a valuable skin conditioner and moisturizer that is removed in the commercial milling process.
SAPONIFICATION is the ancient process of mixing an alkali with fats or oils to produce a cleaning agent containing glycerin and alkali salts.
OILS used in our all-natural soaps are made with only high grade olive, coconut & palm oil. Olive oil is the basis of the famous Castile Soap from Spain. Olive oil is a moisturizer that holds moisture close to the skin. It does not inhibit the normal function of the skin and is generally safe for sensitive skin and for babies. Olive oil is a perfect partner for our goat milk.
THE SCENTS and colors that make our soaps so delightful are obtained from herbs and natural essential and fragrance oil.
BARS are hand cuts to give them a pleasant, hand-crafted appearance. The bars are hand stamped with a dove on them. We try to cut consistently for a 3.5 oz bar, but sometimes the weights may vary.
NO ANIMAL testing is done. I'm very picky, and my products must meet my standards, as I stand behind my products. Goat milk & honey is the only animal products found in our soap.
